My theory on drinking for medicinal purposes lasted a month. A new study indicates a daily intake of alcohol puts women at much greater risk for breast and rectal cancer.

Male breast cancer is rare. I suspect most view it as irony when a man is afflicted. Rectal cancer, however, is my cause for concern. Pretty much everyone who knows me beyond a fleeting acquaintance calls me an asshole at some point. Some actually say it as a half-jest.

I embrace the term, but I can see the sardonic smiles if I did develop the disease.
